The Euro Retailer Produce Working Group are the
largest European food retailers. It aims for the utilization
of good agricultural practices (GAP) through specific
standards for fruits, coffee, grains and meats.
The EUREPGAP standards allow for higher food safety,
for both producers, retailers, and consumers. They are
based on the risk analysis and preventive principles,
such as the HACCP procedures.
As an associate member of the EUREPGAP
group, IGCert® has contributed in the establishment
of GAP standards (EUREPGAP-IFA, EUREPGAP-Coffee),
as well as their adaptation to the Brazilian conditions.
The guidelines which form the EUREPGAP
certification scheme are:
